My name is George and I am Overthinker.
I started this blog because about 7 years ago I came across the Innate Health approach (also known as The 3 Principles) by accident when I was asked to organise the UK’s first ever conference on this topic for Tikun. At this time I was at a relatively happy point in my life and had no idea how much my ‘over-thinking’ was impacting me. – This became very clear while I was organising the conference. – A few days before it was due to start, I was so pre-occupied with all the thoughts of what I had to do and how no one else could help me and how I had to be Little Miss Responsible, that I ran into a door and smashed my face in, gaining 2 black eyes. – Not a good look for someone welcoming people to a conference about well-being! – Tee Hee! This began a journey that has made a profound impact on my life and I hope through sharing my experiences it will help anyone who reads this in some way.
During my journey of discovery I was lucky enough to visit California and see first-hand how this approach is taught to prisoners on parole, homeless people and at risk teenagers who had just come out of Juvenile Hall. I graduated from the One Thought Professional Institute in early 2014 where I was trained and mentored by some of the leading practitioners from around the world.
In the summer of 2015 I set up Overthinkers Anonymous with my husband Matt (also a trained Innate Health Teacher) to share with fellow overthinkers what we have seen for ourselves that has helped us take our lives and thinking less seriously, and allowed us to live with far greater spontaneity, resilience, peace of mind, love and laughter.
Soon after I set up twice monthly virtual mum and baby support group called NapChat to enable mums with babies to gain support from one another whilst learning something that would help them see that they have everything they need to cope with life with a baby and beyond.
I am passionate about share this understanding to as many people as I can reach, so if you are interested to find out more and would like a FREE initial consultation (via Skype) to see if I can help you in some way please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Testimonials
“I’ve come into sessions with a lot on my mind. Some of them were at very busy times of year when there was tons going on and I was under a lot of pressure. During my sessions with George, I really got peaceful and quiet, and found a lot of clarity within. It surprises me each time, because she says so little! She doesn’t seem to be advising me or guiding me at all, but as she listens and makes small comments I feel myself settling deeper into myself and I get clarity. There were several times where she made small insightful comments that really turned my world and led me to later drop beliefs that were very deep and very old….
George is so comfortable to speak to I never feel judged, evaluated, or even like she is trying to relate to me. It hardly feels that she is the mentor! It just feels like a very natural, comfortable, helpful conversation!”

“Since my introduction to the Three Principles, I’ve gained a lot of freedom, confidence and sense of pride in who I am and what I am capable of. I’ve let go of a lot of crap. Sometimes it weedles itself back into my head but whereas before I’d panic and let it rule me I now find myself exposing it……and the thoughts, feelings – unnecessary obstacles – that would historically grip me for days/weeks/even years can’t seem to stick, or be able to have such influence in the manner that they used to….
George herself is a remarkable teacher, largely down to the fact that she doesn’t present herself as such. Most of the time it’s like chatting with a friend – a really calm, open, caring friend who takes what you say without judgement and simply has your best interests at heart and gives you the space to work things out yourself – a hugely rewarding and empowering experience.”
